KICKS: Nike Basketball “Black History Month” Pack
Nike has started something big as they have began to do Black History Month releases. Not only does Nike celebrate the month and culture of African-Americans but they also pay tribute to black athletes who go beyond the sport they play and help define a strong, positive image as to what these athletes fully represent. This year Nike Basketball selected Kevin Durant as there BHM athlete. Nike laced KD with his own BHM logo that represents the hopes and dreams of young athletes.
In the Nike Basketball “Black History Month” Pack we get three new colorways of the Nike Lebron 10, Nike Kobe 8 and the Nike KD 5′s. Each shoe features a grey and orange colorway with the BHM print throughout the shoe. Each player will respectively be wearing their shoes on the court January 21st as the NBA pays tribute to Martin Luther King Jr.

KICKS: Nike Basketball “Gold Medal” Pack (Release Info)
Since the Summer Olympics, we’ve heard news of Nike releasing the sneakers that several NBA Players wore during the gold medal game, including LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant. Each player’s signature shoe will release in a distinct version that somehow incorporates gold into the look.
While the Nike LeBron 10 and Nike Zoom Kobe 7 models feature patriotic colorways with gold serving as a contrasting element, the Nike Zoom KD 4 uses the eye-catching hue along the entire upper, while red and blue play the supporting role. Rounding out the collection is a red / white / blue version of the Nike Hyperdunk. Seen above are images of each shoe, while below are their respective release dates.

KICKS: Nike Zoom KD IV “Gold Medal”
If you’ve been watching Team USA do their thing out on the hardwood in the 2012 Olympics at all recently you’ve probably gotten the sense of how much of a favorite they are for the gold medal this summer. Even the announcers, doing their best to be PC about it and not come right out and say what we’re all thinking, slip up sometimes and mention how likely it is that our boys will be grabbing the gold. In the event that that does happen Nike Basketball has of course crafted a special set of sneakers to pay tribute, with Kevin Durant’s Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Gold Medal’ pictured in a few new angles here. With each stop they also drop a few new pairs of sneakers to help heads feel the magic and their last stop was in DC.
