KICKS: Nike LeBron X NSW Lifestyle Sample
This past weekend’s pivotal release of the Nike LeBron X ‘Cork’ gave consumers just a taste of Nike Basketball’s capabilities of transforming a high-tech sneaker into a polished lifestyle shoe, but it appears that Nike already has an entree waiting to be served up in the kitchen. Here’s a first look at the Nike LeBron X NSW Lifestyle Sample; it feature a true lifestyle mid-top silhouette (like a Blazer) with laser-etched lines on the upper and ventilated areas that give the sneaker a LeBron X spirit. Built with a brown leather upper and supported by a unique midsole with ridged walls and the LeBron lion logo on the heel, the this LeBron X NSW Lifestyle Sample exudes that grown-up nature that was first initiated with the Nike LeBron Sportswear capsule that debuted in 2011. The insole also features a special label that reads ‘Virescit Vulnere Virtus’ – a Latin phrase that has anchored the LeBron NSW Collection since its launch. Continue on for a full detailed gallery of this exciting sample and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates regarding a potential release, and check out the entire listing from wowfactor101 on eBay.

KICKS: Nike Barkley Posite Max “Eggplant” Release Info
After the success of the ‘Area 72′ Pack led by the Nike Barkley Posite Max, NSW’s got something else in store near the end of the March - the first-seen ‘Eggplant’ colorway. We already reported a release date for these bad boys some time ago, but we have some additional information for ya; the officially designated colorway is ‘Black/Black’, although the Eggplant finish is likely a Varsity Purple hue like the Air Foam One that dropped in ’09 and again in ’10, and the official box price is $235 (as seen on the box tag). Nike’s official release calendar does list it as $200, but that is subject to change, and again, with fast-rising prices in the Foamposite category and the fact that this is a new model with some added ingredients like Glow and Max Air, $235 is the more likely MSRP. You’ve got roughly four weeks to wait, but if you want ‘em now, grab ‘em from janbaz0221 on eBay.

KICKS: Nike SB Dunk High “St. Patty’s”
Last year’s ‘Black and Tan’ Dunk Low SBs ruffled enough feathers that comparatively few remember the ‘Guinness’ Highs that also released around St. Patrick’s Day. This time around, the theme is more direct and simpler, as the ‘St. Patty’s Nike SB Dunk High flips the Guinness two-toned leather build for a look that makes you wonder what it would be like if Nike ever outfitted Notre Dame. Have a look at this member of the March 2013 SB catalog below, then grab yours at select shops like MIA.
